Premio Mejor Objeto "Puro Diseño 2009"
El nido nace como una exageración de un canasto de mimbre.
La intención fue utilizar el “know how” de este material, pero utilizarlo en escala arquitectónica.
Este es el lugar perfecto para hamacarse, colgado de un árbol, aislado del mundo, mientras el sol entra a través del tejido de mimbre.
La materia prima y la tecnología utilizada son una especialización local de Tigre (Buenos Aires). El nido surge de aprovechar estas habilidades, pero en una escala mucho mayor a la habitual en esta técnica.

The nest is born as an exaggeration of a wicker basket.
The intention was to use the “know how” of this material, but to use it on an architectural scale.
This is the perfect place to hammock, hanging from a tree, isolated from the world, while the sun enters through the wicker fabric.
The raw material and technology used are a local specialization of Tigre (Buenos Aires). The nest arises from taking advantage of these skills, but on a much larger scale than usual in this technique.
